The Cost of Doing Nothing

Yesterday I was with a group of 8 entrepreneurs and we did the thing where everyone introduces themselves and if I'm being truthful, I couldn't tell you with complete clarity what each one of them actually does and how they help people. It wasn't because they did a bad job explaining it. It's because that's how we receive information.
It typically takes us 8–10 times hearing what someone does before we really understand it and even then, we don't fully understand until we experience it ourselves.
I've experienced this myself with High Achievers.
I know for a fact it's changed lives and businesses. It's helped people grow revenue by getting laser focused on the few things that actually drive revenue instead of everything else. It's helped people buy back time so they can actually be present during family time. It's been a rock for people who have lost clients, dealt with health issues and experienced tragedy.
I know this and the 29 people who have experienced High Achievers know this but it's incredibly difficult to fully explain until you've experienced it yourself.
Which left me with a bigger question:
How do I help more entrepreneurs experience High Achievers?
So I started working backwards. What are the barriers to entry?
Your time.
My time.
Price.
Creating a clear process
The first three were actually pretty easy. Make the work self-paced, create a group component so nobody is doing it alone and make the investment $99/month. I chose $99 intentionally as I believe there has to be some level of investment for people to actually show up and do the work but I wanted the price to be low enough that someone early in their journey, coming off a lean year or simply watching cash flow wouldn't be prevented from getting help. Steps 1–3, solved.
Step four was harder. How do I take what happens inside a weekly mastermind and turn it into a 90-day process?
Almost everyone who has joined High Achievers has already proven they can work hard. That's how they gotten to where they are at, they've taken action they've been determined and they've figured things out.
They don't need someone telling them to work harder. They need the space to figure out where all that effort should go next.
Questions like:
What do I actually want my life to look like? What do I actually want?
How do I want to spend my time and on what?
What is possible within my own life? What is my potential?
What does this next version of me require?
You can have a business that's growing and realize you don't want the life required to run it or you can have freedom and realize you're capable of building something much bigger. Heck, you can have success and still know, very clearly, that the current version has run its course.
High Achievers 2.0 was built for that exact person and this exact problem.
Over 90 days, we're going to create the space to figure out what you actually want, build the next version around it, and then get brutally clear on what you need to do and probably more importantly, what you need to stop doing to create it.
You'll do it around other people pushing the envelope themselves, people who understand the fears, doubts and insecurities because they're dealing with their own versions of them.
At the end of 90 days, my goal isn't for you to have consumed a bunch of content. It's for you to know what you're building, why you're building it, where your time needs to go and what you're going to do next.
But there was one other obvious challenge:
What if you don't resonate with High Achievers? What if you don't resonate with me? Maybe you don't like my style, maybe you don't like my haircut, heck, maybe you don't associate with people who don't drink coffee.
I came back to the way I want to lead my business, help people solve problems in the manner they want to solve them. So if you know you want something different but don't think High Achievers or I are the right way to get there, reach out anyway. I'll happily send you a few great people who might be.
Yes, the goal of High Achievers and The Conley Group is to build a successful lives and business but the bigger goal is helping people who recognize they want something different actually create something different, with or without us.
That brings me to the only thing I really want you to consider today.
There is a cost to getting help. Money, time, energy and we tend to give those costs all of our attention but there's another cost we rarely calculate:
The cost of doing nothing.
Another three months of thinking about it, another year of operating the same way, another year saying you want something different while continuing to do the same things that created what you have today.
So the question isn't whether you're capable of figuring it out yourself, you probably are.
The question is how much longer you want to spend figuring it out.
