What We Collect
We keep it minimal. Here's what we gather:
Information You Give Us
First name and email address - when you take our quiz, sign up for the newsletter, or join the community
Account information - whatever you provide when creating a Skool account (handled by Skool)
Payment information - processed by Skool's payment system. We never see or store your card details.
Information Collected Automatically
Usage data - pages visited, time on site, referring URLs
Device information - browser type, operating system, screen size
Cookies and similar technologies - see the Cookies section below
We do not collect sensitive personal information like health data, Social Security numbers, or government IDs.
How We Use Your Data
To deliver the community experience - give you access to content, courses, and community features
To send you emails - quiz results, newsletters, community updates, and occasional offers
To improve the site - understand what's working and what isn't
To communicate with you - respond to questions or support requests
To protect the community - enforce our terms and keep things running smoothly
We don't sell your data. Full stop.
Third-Party Services
We use a few trusted platforms to run this business. Each one may collect or process some of your data according to their own privacy policies:
Service What It Does Their Privacy Policy Skool Community platform, membership billing, payment processing skool.com/privacy Mailchimp Email collection and newsletters mailchimp.com/legal/privacy Framer Website hosting framer.com/privacy
Payment processing is handled entirely by Skool. Your payment details go directly to their processor. We never see your full card number, and we don't store payment data on our servers.
We may also use basic analytics tools to understand site traffic. These tools collect anonymized or aggregated data.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies. Here's what that means in plain English:
Essential cookies - keep the site functioning (login sessions, preferences)
Analytics cookies - help us understand how people use the site (anonymized)
Third-party cookies - set by services like Skool, Mailchimp, or Framer when embedded on our site
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can block or delete them, but some site features may not work properly if you do.
Data Retention
Email subscribers - we keep your name and email until you unsubscribe. After that, we remove you from our active lists. Mailchimp may retain some data per their own policies.
Community members - your data is retained as long as you have an active Skool membership. If you cancel, Skool handles data deletion per their policies.
Site usage data - retained in anonymized/aggregated form. No personal identifiers.
We don't hold onto your data longer than we need to. When there's no longer a reason to keep it, we delete it.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
Access - ask what personal data we have about you
Correction - ask us to fix inaccurate data
Deletion - ask us to delete your data
Opt out - unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
Portability - request a copy of your data in a common format
Object - object to certain processing of your data
To exercise any of these rights, email us at paul@conleygroupco.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
California residents: Under the CCPA, you have additional rights including the right to know what data we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. Again, we don't sell your data. But if you want to make a formal request, email us.
EU/UK residents: If you're covered by GDPR, the legal basis for our data processing is your consent (when you sign up) and our legitimate interest in running the community. You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Children's Privacy
This site and community are for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover we have, we'll delete it immediately.
Data Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your data. But no system is 100% secure. We use trusted platforms (Skool, Mailchimp, Framer) that maintain their own security standards.
If there's ever a data breach that affects you, we'll notify you as required by law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. If the changes are significant, we'll let you know by email or a notice on the site.
